Who We Are
5280 Recovery High School cultivates students who are thinkers, problem solvers, collaborators, and innovators. We are founded on the principle that every individual has the ability to live a bold and balanced life. We serve students who struggle with substance use and other mental health challenges.
To inspire discovery and foster hope for students in recovery.
A world where all students live bold, balanced lives of integrity.
Everything we do here at 5280 centers on our six core values:
Belief, not doubt. Possibility, not pressure. And hope over helplessness, because recovery is about having trust in the future.
Adapting, not avoiding. Courage, not control. And resilience over resignation, because recovery is about working through it, not toughing it out.
Connection, not isolation. Contributing, not hiding. And belonging over judgment, because recovery is about solidarity, not solitude.

Exploration, not expectations. Diving in, not holding back. And purpose over powerlessness, because recovery is about discovery, not the destination.
Encouragement, not enablement. Acceptance, with accountability. And love over fear, because when hope returns, healing begins.
