Darryl joined 5280 Recovery High School in October 2021 as a humanities teacher, and later transitioned into a hybrid role as a recovery coach and social emotional learning (SEL) teacher. He is serving as a peer recovery coach, supporting students in their academic, personal, and recovery journeys. Darryl holds a B.A. in Economics from Binghamton University and is credentialed as a Qualified Behavioral Health Assistant (QBHA) and Certified Family Peer Specialist (CPFS). His professional experience combines education, peer support, and recovery-focused services to help students build meaningful connections and achieve their goals. He is passionate about creating supportive environments where students can thrive both academically and personally. Outside of work, Darryl enjoys cooking, reading, and adding to his extensive sneaker collection.

Before coming to 5280 in June 2025, Jordyn led fundraising at other wonderful local education and literary arts programs, including Reading Partners Colorado and Lighthouse Writers Workshop. Jordyn earned her bachelor’s in Human Development and Psychological Services at Northwestern University and a master’s in Fundraising and Grantmaking from NYU. In her free time, you can find her at the library with her daughter, canning jams and pickling anything that can be pickled, cross stitching, and writing picture books for young children to learn about mental health issues.

Ten has been with the 5280 team since 2023. She has years of driving experience from tour buses to oversized trailers and earned her Transportation Supervisor certificates through CDE in 2025. Outside of 5280, Ten is a musician who often writes songs for TV and film. She spends her time playing Dungeons and Dragons and watching movies with her loving partner and their dog, Bowie.
